Overhex Wines International are proud to welcome our new chef, Petrus Johannes Lombard, previously from the Boschluyskloof Private Game Lodge.
We did a survey among our regular visitors and it seems that there is an overwhelming request for us to be open for lunch on Sundays.
From the 1st of March 2012 we will therefore welcome you to our tasting room and Bistro on a Sunday. Trading hours will be Tuesdays to Sundays 10:00 – 16:00.
To accommodate these new trading hours, we have decided to close the Winebar on Friday evenings from the 1st of January.
In addition, we will be open for private functions on Friday and Saturday evenings at the Bistro.

The Overhex Wine Bar:

- 10:00 – 16:00 every first Saturday of the month. Enjoy a fun-filled family outing!

The history of winemaking and that of salami making dates back to about the same time. The word salami comes from the Italian 'salare', meaning 'to salt' and this humble cured sausage even has its own international on the 7th of September.
Six Balance wines are pared with six salamis that were crafted by celebrated salami maker Richard Bosman.
The duration of the tasting is between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the participation level, and size of the group. The cost is R50.00 per person, and booking is advisable for groups of more than four people.
