Winemakers’ Choice Awards is a key competition the South African wine industry. The judging procedures allow for fair and unbiased results, empowering winemakers, giving them the opportunity to judge their peers products.
The Chenin Blanc 2011 of De Wet Cellar is one of only four Chenin Blanc wines this year which received a Diamond Award at the the annual Winemakers’ Choice Award Competition. Winemaker, Tertius Jonk and Winemaker-Manager Piet le Roux, show the De Wet Chenin Blanc wine and the beautiful diamond award.
VERITAS
The Veritas Awards are run under the auspices of the South African National Wine Show Association, an umbrella body that represents the local wine industry. The competition presents an opportunity for South African wine makers to be judged by their peers as well as top local and international wine experts.
