Package 2 (half day)
walk, taste, stock up the pantry
Visit Institute for the Blind/museum or go on an hour's easy walk in the Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden. Olive & wine tasting. Optional picnic lunch extra. Stop at a typical South African "padstal" (farm stall) where you can shop a variety of wines, dried fruit, et al... if you like |

Package 3
cook & sip (sleepover)
You will be picked up from your base, bring your own wine which you can taste and shop at a winery en route. Attend a hands-on cooking class (local or cuisine of your choice) and sleep over in one of the charming heritage guest houses in the Boland. Next day choose an activity to your liking, eat & sip some more and get taken back to your base via a scenic route/mountain pass.

Package 4 (half day)
muse & taste
Turn the calendar back by 200 years : Kleinplasie, an open air cultural history museum with a strong focus on agriculture, reflecting practices and crafts of the first farmers in the district. Followed by a historic drive through Worcester, wine & olive tastings at award winning estates. |

Package 5 (full day)
hike, munch & about yesteryears...
A pair of Tekkies will do : hike at the Botanical Garden or walk through Church Street which houses unique architectural buildings. We continue on a dirt road for finest olive and organic wine tastings. Lunch with some more wine tastings at a fine French restaurant. Visit to Kleinplasie Museum. |

Package 6 (full day – seasonal)
muscle flexing, drink & eat
Test your strength on a 4 hour canoe trip on the Breede River and build up an appetite for a scrumptious, traditional farm lunch. Relax the rest of the afternoon with a wine tasting and tour of a farm which prides some game. We round the day off with another wine tasting. |

Package 7 (full day)
cycle & taste
Put your helmet on and go on a mountain bike ride, followed by olive or wine tasting and lunch. (From April – June you will also be able to witness the olive making process). Relax the afternoon by being driven through the valley and taste some fine wines of the area. Visit a farm stall which stocks local treats. |

Package 8 (full day)
hike & taste
Hike up a hill on a wine estate, offering spectacular views, enjoy a traditional lunch at the top with wine tasting and take a tractor ride back down. Two further wine tastings in the afternoon and stop at a farm stall. |

Package 9 (full day)
angling & taste
Spend the morning trout fishing in beautiful scenery, followed by a BBQ or smoked fish lunch and wine tastings. Sample some more fine award winning wines at another 2 or 3 cellars in the area. |

Package 10 (full day – seasonal)
cruise & taste
Visit Institute for the Blind, Kleinplasie or Botanical Garden. Hop onto a boat and glide down the Breede River, tasting some local lekker wines. Back on land a meal cooked on the open fire will await you (unique Karoo Lamb and/or other South African meats and dishes). Subject to availability, early reservations recommended, prices depending on menu. If you are up to it, another wine tasting. |

Package 11
ride a quaint ol' train, care & share
An unusual, historic half day train ride, scenic splendour in the Hex River Valley, an educational adventure, one of the first railway tracks in South Africa. Shop at a farmstall for your picnic lunch if you like. Become part of Braveheart Kidz, a shelter for homeless children, simply by visiting (weekdays only). Subsequent wine tasting at a local cellar.

Package 12 (full day)
art & wine
Visit the Hugo Naude /Jean Welz Museum, a glass art studio, drive out to Robertson to visit more art galleries. Or pay a day visit to McGregor, a quaint country village situated in the Valley of Wine and Roses, which exhibits specialised art work in a range of mediums. Visit to a donkey sanctuary. A lunch stop at own cost can be arranged at any one of the excellent bistros in either area. Wine tasting en route. |
